thank you for your interest in our game. I've compiled this FAQ to address some of the most common questions and provide you with insights into our project. Whether you're wondering about the game's release date, how to support its development, or other details, we hope you'll find the answers you're looking for here. If you have more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

Why is the game free?

I've decided to offer the game for free due to personal reasons. Several factors influenced this choice, one of them being my current unpreparedness to handle the tax-related complexities associated with selling the game.

Is there a way to support the development?

It's important to me that all of you have fun with the game. To support me and my work, you can, for example, share it with your friends or family. Additionally, your feedback is immensely helpful.

Is there a planned release date for the game?

I cannot provide an exact release date at this time. Currently, I'm working on the final map that will be available at the time of the release. After that, there are a few minor tasks like bug fixes and additional customization options to be addressed.

What happens after the game's release?

As mentioned earlier, the game will continue to receive updates. These updates will include new maps and potentially new game mechanics. All updates and enhancements will remain free.

In which languages will the game be available?

At the time of release, the game will be available in English and German. I plan to add more languages after the release.

Will the game be compatible with the Steam Deck?

That is currently undetermined. Due to my limited experience, I need to first familiarize myself with the technical aspects. Therefore, I can't make any promises at the moment.

Does the game work with controllers?

The game is compatible with all common controller types, such as Xbox or PlayStation controllers.

How many maps will be available at the time of release?

At the time of the release, there will be three different maps, each available in two versions - one for mobile cameras and one for fixed cameras.

Hey everyone,

due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we will now be releasing our game PROJECT: OBSCURION for FREE. The game will continue to be developed and updated over the coming months. In terms of updates, these will also be free as and when released; there will be no microtransactions or paid DLCs.

We hope you continue to support the game and its upcoming release. Make sure you wishlist the game to be kept up to date.

Demo Hotfix (Version 1.0.5)

Hey everyone,

In this hotfix I've fixed various bugs including a bug that prevented players from playing on black & white mode. I also increased the intruder chances a lot.

Changes:

Fixed various bugs
Fixed black & white mode
Increased intruder spawn chances
