Difference between MoW:AS and MoW:AS2

Since it's 50% off, I've been thinking about getting it, but I cant really find any differences comparing it to the old Assault squad.
So what has been changed? What major new features have been added, etc?

MP is still alive and well!!!, just need to download "Gameranger". There are currently around 30 regular players.

Some nice features in as2, most notable 'game play' change are the firing ranges for tanks and AT guns, these have been reduced.

Drawbacks? Well, if you're excluding the grenade indicator they added, the matchmaking system that only works for 1v1s and divides the MP community, the removal of a frequently used in-game chat lobby, and the poorer network code that makes most matches run slower...

Then yes. Better in every way.

noone uses matchmaking now anyway, people just play hosted games as usual. Also, you might want to check population rates per hour for this game. For me its the highest at 10 o clock in the evening which is pretty convenient.

mowas was always nothing like the other games. this is both good and bad
