This is a quote from somewhere else... "When i tried running it in windows 2000 compatability mode, it worked perfectly". That made me chuckle.
Windows 8.1
i5-3120M CPU @ 2.5GHz
8GB Ram
GTforce 650M
i don't know..the reccomended specs are really high, but i don't know if it is the main reason of your problem. try to run on compatibility mode, and then tell us if it work.
nope still not working , i e-mailed a consultant from the official site maybe he/she knows more, cause i saw it was a common error on myst V
Can you explain ? Are there some tricks we should try ?
I mean, that should work.
Runs 'fine' for me:
Windows 8.1
i7-4930MX
32.0 GB Ram
Gforce 780m GTX
A little choppy though...
I'm using compatibility mode XP (SP3). I also tweaked a few stuff in NVIDIA configuration panel.
FXAA - off
Anisotropic filtering off
Vertical Sync - off
In the end, I'm still disappointed. The graphic upgrade is not obvious, at least on my laptop. Maybe with a decent computer, with every 3D parameters on top, the experience is worth it.
Don't know... at least, I can use my bloody game.
As far as issues with the Unity engine, I'm having problems believing this is causing a problem (for me at least). I run Kerbal Space Program, and iirc that runs on Unity also. No problems there, I don't even need to try any Compatibility or Nvidia workarounds...
I have intel for my graphics
