Real MYST, the fireplace in Library

I believe I've done evrything right: collected all red and blue pages, delivered them to Atrus and Achenar in library, oicked up the 2 torn white notes, and collected the white paper in the power swich on the dock, and plotted the code 158 on the board in the fireplace BUT doesn't get the board up wih green book, red n' blue pages to get to Rime - so I'm stuck, unable to finish the game - any suggestions folks ?

If one of the wacko quackos tells you where to look for the pattern

Did you press the red button after placing said pattern in the grid?

If the fireplace doesn't rotate after placing the correct pattern from the correct page into the grid and then pressing the red button then you made a mistake in transferring the pattern.

I suggest some note paper, correctly drawing the grid out on it and then penciling the shaded squares into the correct grid squares. Use it to correctly place the squares and then verify before pushing the button
