They gave a robot he/him pronouns
A robot can't be a he/him or a she/her, only it.

Also, what is they/them? That isn't a thing.

I think they/them is the least offensive thing about pronouns I've seen. It's actually a smart one? Can be used even when you're not sure about someone's gender, you just got "they are". Simple, clean, not a big bother.

It becomes an issue when you create new ones that make it impossible to keep up—

Also, for the meme, about the robot... Not with that attitude, no! They may be either he or she if trying hard enough.
Speaking of enough, enough meme.

also btw, the robots in concord are 'sparked' which means they gained sentience so they chose their pronouns themselves

As a non-native speaker who learned english from very strict teachers, using "they" as third person singular makes me feel as if something has been repurposed as a high velocity projectile to fly straight for my head and gives me the immediate urge to duck.
That said, I'll endeavor to respect the pronouns if they respect that I will, inevitably, mess up.

I guess I can agree with that. English is my second language, though I use it way more than my first, so I'm... kinda used even to some of these zany changes? And my first language has some weird things as well, so I guess they/them for singular never fried my brain too much because it's not too out there by my standards lol But I definitely can understand how wrong it may feel!

Maybe there's a robotlover in the studio. Everyone is into some weird kink.

If the robot was 2B? Yeah, I could be into that, too.

Except Yoko Taro made her canonically dangerous to diddle with.

this has got to be the most perfect example of "woke" trolls not understanding how the english language works lol

they / them isn't a thing LMAO

In real life, you use "they" when attempting to obscure the gender of the person you're speaking about, or it's unknown.
"I won't tell you who said it. I won't betray their trust."
"The firm is sending a new lawyer to handle my case. They should be here shortly."

When you're asking someone to refer to you as "they," it becomes a sad "It's Pat!" sketch and it just draws attention to the fact that you're different and weird. But I guess if you're addicted to attention, have at it.

I agree, however here is what is happening:

Normal folk:
Person #1: Have you seen Jan?
Person #2: Yeah, they're over there.

In this normal conversation person #1 and person #2 know that Jan is a female. This conversation happens all the time in real life and we all understand what is being said. What is happening with the woke/DEI crowd is that they're trying to make they/them refer to somebody as BOTH genders, as to say that Jan is both male and female. Well, for one, we are not going to allow that to happen, and two, you can't be both genders. In Concord, the woke developers use they/them to refer to that playable character as being both genders.

Gender pronouns are the original sin of Latin languages. In some parts of the world -- East Asia, for example -- have used genderless pronouns. Chinese ideograph 彼 simply means "that".
In the modern era Western languages brought gender pronouns, so she/her-equivalent was coined to translate: 他 (that, other, he/him) and 她 (she/her) in Chinese, 彼 (that, he/him) and 彼女 (she/her, girlfriend) in Japanese, 그 (that, he/him) and 그녀 (she/her) in Korean.
Therefore, if someone's gender is unknown or nonbinary, these languages just use he/him because it is originally genderless.

Robot is called an It.
The rest is either he or she, male or female. There's nothing in between.

They are them are people that deny reality. He or she don't think they're male or female.

They or them are plural terms

Example

They went on the bus. But who are they?
The children went on the bus. Children is the they in the sentence. Describing a singular person as a plural is bad grammar.

Also He/him was always refer to a male adult human(has a real penis)
Whereas She/her is for a female adult human.(has a real vagina)

But trans want to erase male and female terms. it's getting to the point that males that were born with a penis want to be referred as female that has a vagina. This is why in some states they're allowing people to change these sex on their Drivers Licence.

The trans movement want to push this ideology so bad on the majority of regular people that they inject this stuff into entertainment to social condition or indoctrinate people in believing this nonsense. If you don't go along with it, you are labelled a bigot or transphobe etc.

It's getting pathetic.

Edit: in the case of this game, they give every character pronouns, even the robot to force people to adopt this language of the trans community unto the majority of people that don't do pronouns or go a long with this ideology.

Spider Man 2 had LatinX which made the Spanish language more inclusive. That the LGBT are willing to butcher a whole language just for a minority.
