Wikipedia lying about why Concord is getting shut down

They could recycle the game so it's f2p, not racist and offers stuff that Overwatch falls short on (which is many things), the downfall of the game was entirely due to it's wokeness, there's plenty of other games that more than pander to a near nonexistent playerbase but can still be played by normal people since the wokeness is optional and not hazed onto you.

It's not though. You're literally on a forum with gamers and the gamers are telling you they didn't buy the game because it's DEI/woke nonsense. I have over 1000 hours in Team Fortress 2, around 200 in Overwatch and around 50 in Paladins. I play hero shooters and am always on a lookout for new hero shooters. I added Concord to my 'ignore game' list because it is DEI/woke crap that I don't want to play. Other gamers are like me and did the same. Just read this forum and it should be proof enough!

Nobody bothered playing the game when it was free on Public Beta. What makes you think anyone would bother playing it when its Free to Play?

Because it was racist, iterative and the final product was paid access. You remove all three of these points and then maybe there's something there if the gameplay differentiates enough from competitors.

I don't see the logic in wasting millions in developing the framework when the main issues with the game are the easiest to fix in a rerelease scenario.

These same gaming journalists are now mimicking what Wikipedia is saying on why Concord failed. You listen to these gaming journalists and believe what they are saying. WHY!? They lied about the game being a 7/10 and they are lying about the reason why Concord is shutting down.

Believe it or not, the job of games journalists isn't just to review games, it's to pander to publishers so that they continue to give them early access to review copies and thus have *their* reviews come first so they can make revenue.

That and maybe, just maybe, they also thought it was ok.

These two factors combined explain the score, not whatever lame culture war stuff you've based your personality on
