Error on startup. I can't boot MODO ;-(

MODO start by shortcut or steam cliant. but it was alart following message.

I un-installed MODO and re-installed from stem. But this error will not solve.

Please tell me the solution strategy.

Hi

There may be an issue with the config that's not being repaired so please could you try the following :

1. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to this folder :

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\

2. Delete the modosteam directory

3. Try MODO for Steam again.

I can use MODO steam edition after delete the "modosteam" folder.
But after closed MODO and I tried re-start MODO.
MODO was same error has occurred.

Why is that?

By the way, I installed MODO 701sp3 in same computer.

Sorry that you're still having issues and it could be that you have both versions installed, though we don't see this error when testing on our side. Could you send the modosteam folder zipped up to support@thefoundry.co.uk and we'll take a look.

One other question, are you currently using the full version of MODO 701 SP3 (are you currently demoing it or have a permanent license) or did you just download it and are not currently using it?

We have now reproduced this issue and it appears to be related to an issue with the locale of the OS. Currently only the English locale for the operating system is supported. Apologies about this and our team are looking into fixing this issue.

The only workaround at the moment is to put the OS into English locale.

I have a permanet license of MODO 701.
So far the full version MODO seems to be working OK.

I will send modosteam folder and screen capture to support.
