Fiorano Circuit
For a company that is linked to making the Ferrari simulator for the F1 Drivers I am rather suprised while I read the circuit list. Fiorano is the home of Ferrari test cars and I just find it strange it's missing from the line up.

Is it possible Fiorano Circuit is also named in this game as the "Dino Ferrari” circuit?

The track and carlist on their site is only for 1.0 version (now we have 0.3 version, so 1.0 will be out sometimes in Q1 2014). So it means there will be much more cars and tracks in the future up to 2018 year. There was Fiorano in FVA, so I dont see a reason why it couldn't be in AC.

I'ts likely a licencing thing, Ferrari own Ferrari Virtual Academy, it was a game developed for their driver academy event (similar to GT Academy), he probably doesn't have the licence for the circuit in Assetto Corsa.

Ferrari Virtual Academy was made by Kunos

But Its owned by Ferrari, that's the point. Kunos doesn't need licences when he's developing something for someone else. Fiorano is Ferrari's own test circuit.

Fiorano is a private test track, no racing is done there.

Cool, did not know that. I assumed Kunos just licenced the IP to Ferrari.
And I think that might be the killer, like CTR69 mentioned, no racing so that's maybe why we won't see an official track. So far, correct me if I'm wrong, but each track is a proper active racetrack?

All the tracks in Assetto Corsa so far are active race tracks, aside from the Drift track, which is a clone of some motorsport park in Japan, popular with track day events and drifting.

I definitely do like the Fiorano circuit, but it's probably not a priority as it's just a test circuit.

I dont see a reason why in AC should be only active tracks. There will be also classics routes, and they are not active either :-) but I see your point.
I think that if they want it, they can have a license. I am sure they have pretty good contacts with Ferrari. Fiorano isnt something like Area 51 :-)

Technically wouldn't Monza 66 not be considered an active track

Well they do use the banking oval as part of the Monza Rally festival, so it's in some way active.

I really hope Fiorano will be added to AC either officially or by mod. It will be a blast to do lap time in this historic circuit.
