How to make and post (with youtube) video using the files that are in C: ... \ Documents \ Assetto Corsa \ replay
Files in the replay of the game are not recognized by youtube.
Currently I am forced to film the replay with the phone to be able to post a video on youtube.
But I can see in the video section of the forum, many users achieve the perfect video, equal to replay the game.
Can someone explain to me what I need to do to make and post a video of good quality?
Thank you and good speed at all,
Enrico

Are you on AMD or NVidia GPU ?

You have to play the replay in assetto corsa and record it with recording software, like msi afterburner (free). Then you can edit it a bit with windows live movie maker (also free) and save it to a much smaller format so you can upload it in an hour instead of 2 days.

If you get stuck somewhere try and look for tutorials on youtube, usually pretty clear.

They might use software to capture video from videogames like bandicam.com, fraps.com

Hi guys,
Thanks for your help.
I've finally solved the problem with NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE ShadowPlay.

As always, good speed to all & enjoy!

How about fraps.

At first, I tried to download FRAPS and Dxtory. The Free versions of these two softwares ( the full , fee , cost 27 Euro ), Besides creating AVI files very heavy (about 1 GB per minute of recording ) , these have drawbacks:
- FRAPS : menu with a few characteristics and maximum video length of just 30 seconds ;
-Dxtory : great menu , I don't know if there are time limitations for video (I haven't had any problems ), but in the replay the message of the brand in large letters blue ( is indelible if you do not pay for the software and is also very annoying ) .
In any case, you must also download moviemaker, to bring together the various films from 30 seconds with FRAPS and to convert the AVI file both softwares in MP4 format, and then be able to load the video on Youtube (I remember that the maximum limit per movie is 1 GB, otherwise you have to pay).
However, I must say that between the two softwares I prefer FRAPS , because the writing of the brand is very small and does not bother you , though there is much to vex to bring together the various videos of 30 seconds each ( with MovieMaker ) to be able to form a video of a full lap .

In the end, I have an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 650, and I having installed NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE ShadowPlay to make my videos . The great thing is that the videos are already being undertaken in MP4 format files and therefore are very light (which can be stored in large quantities without having to buy an external harddisk ) which are loaded on youtube in a few seconds.

Did Shadowplay just work for anyone? Or are there any tips to make it work? Because it doesn't work for me.

Try OpenBroadcasterSoftware as Hawk suggested.. Good program and its free.

MSI afterburner is allso free but doesnt work well with Asseto Corsa. It ends up recording two vids, both the launcher and the game .. Performance takes a hit because of this.

I just had a quick look at OBS and it seems really great so far. It has option to record a window, monitor, a game.
Thank you hawk300000 and magicmazuma for advice.

I used OBS to record this. Its in MP4 format.
Used Bicubic 16 samples and Downscaled it from 1900X1200 to 1280X800 @ 25 fps, And personaly I think the quality is quite acceptable. File size was only 12MB, So its very fast to upload them :) You can go for better quality though if you have a decent machine .. its a very nice piece of software indeed. You can even add picture in picture from a webcam or other source.

Anyway, Good luck and have fun recording / posting vids :)

Your Nvidia card has to have a built in h.264 encoder. So it's limited to 6-series cards and above. Not sure if this is your issue or not, just putting it out there.
