And can you do the above in Assetto Corsa? Yes you can, but it's a pain in the ass if you get it wrong and start grinding gears, so using the clutch is prefered. But anyway Assetto Corsa is nothing like Shift 2. Shift 2 is like a Mcdonalds burger, Assetto Corsa is like a burger made from premium scottish beef straight from the farmer, prepared and cooked by a gourmet italian chef named Pedro, Pedro was the BBQ champion of 2012 and everyone loves his burgers.
Assetto Corsa is like one of Pedro's burgers compared to Mcdonalds.
what i want.is to always press the clutch to change gear.thats realism.not this...
Like gt5
Or forza
If gt5 had great engine sounds i would play that game 24/7
But the sound is worse than garbage.
This is exactly as shift 2 with mods.so you will not eat 30 bucks frum me
No, the clutch in GT5 is broken, as it is in GT6. The clutch in Assetto Corsa is realistic, if you mess up shifts they will grind, if you do them right they will work. In real life you can change without a clutch, as I explained in the first place
It happens in real life, it happens in real racing. You don't "need" a clutch to change gears in real life, gear changes can be done without a clutch.
Forza and Gran Turismo do not even compare to Assetto Corsa. Assetto Corsa is an accurate real world simulator. It is developed at Vallelunga race circuit in italy by Kunos (one of the most respected simulation developers in the world), used by the italian motorsports young driver programs for driver training. It does not get more realistic than Assetto Corsa.
You can rev match in real life without a clutch but it is very hard. If you have a sequential double clutch gearbox you dont need a clutch. This game is very realistic and it is nothing like shiftor anyother crappy arcade game.
Do you know why the BMW Z4 has a clutch. With the double clutch thing I can change gears without using it but it is there nonetheless?
Idiot is you Mother ok?
To the other guy who called me idiot.go ♥♥♥♥ yourself bastard
You wasn't rude to me personally but relax a little. You don't need to take a offense where there isn't any to be taken. People WILL help you here (I'm new to the game myself) but they won't if you are needlessly abrupt. Nobody is getting at you so let's get off on the right foot. The game is very good and is incredibly realistic. If that's what you want then this is a safe purchase (be aware it is early access though).
If you do not use the clutch and try to change gears without rev-matching, the car will go into neutral and the gearbox will grind until you either match the revs, or use the clutch, if you use the clutch correctly, all will be fine.
Hope this answered your question.
Just to add Asseto Corsa compares a lot to Race 07 from Simbin. It is very close but Assetto Corsa is a much better game because of the car customization.
