Thanks man.
and with this setup the wheel in game will rotate like the real wheel? I've tried to use the gain in the game and never can find the right spot :(

This made it much worse!!
Now the wheel turns three times as fast instead of two times, like it was when I searched for a fix!...

Not sure how a setting like that would 'fix' it, as the different cars in the game have different degrees of steering. Gonna test it later, though.

I did some test

the P4-5 and Formula Abarth have a different configuration, these are the parameters:

[STEER]
JOY = 0
AXLE = 0
SCALE = 0.6
LOCK = 270
FF_GAIN = 0.9
FILTER_FF = 0.25
FF_DAMPER = 0
STEER_GAMMA = 1
STEER_FILTER = 0
SPEED_SENSITIVITY = 0
MIN = 0
MAX = 0

I personally have made a copy of the file controls.ini for not having to edit every time.

we hope the Kuno's guys find a solution soon

then you have not problems means that it is not for you!

Lock the steering wheel in game, then no distraction from it. Unfortunately you cannot remove the in game wheel which is best...who drives a car with 2 steering wheels. :)

lol why you do this? just set it in profiler to 900 then do it in game :)

Hmm, if you do this, but the CAR has a steering radius of, say 360 degrees, what happens? Is it still in sync..? Just curious... :)

Yes, with a steering lock of 900 degrees, the cars with a lock of 360 stop at the limit even if you keep turning. So they are still always in sync with the actual turning degrees. I really like that feature.

But presumably your wheel does not lock according to the car lock. This, I imagine would feel a little weird to me.

Btw, the reason I'm 'in' this thread is because it's the other way around for me, not that this has ever really bothered me too much, but I'm driving with Ye'Olde Logitech Momo Racing which is 240 degrees lock-to-lock.

And like I said, it really doesn't 'bother' me, but it would be *nice* if the ingame-wheel and driverhands would be in sync with mine. Either that or let me disable wheel visibility in the game.
