Does anyone else have a GT Omega cockpit to race?

Just wondering if anyone else is using a GT omega cockpit? Ive had one for the past year and a half and I love it!

And if you have one, what mods do you have? I just have the stablizers, the triple monitor mount, keyboard and mouse tray.

Would definitely like one but it wouldn't be practical with limited space, maybe if I had a dedicated games room.

As it stsnds my desk is pretty good for mounting my wheel and I have a lean back style chair that feels more vehicular than a standard office chair.

I got my G27 today!
But still waiting for the GT Omega wheel stand to arrive, hope it will be good enough, cause that's all I have room for.

I orderded just the Omega Wheel stand. Like heppsan, waiting to arrive in mid jan hopefully. I have no room for the full size rig (but im planing the rear portion of the wheel stand for the future).

Yeh, I've got one, had it about 2 years. It is the Pro with all the fittings. Earlier this year I bought the stabalizers for under the wheel tray, as I got me a T500rs and even though the cockpit is very robust, I was getting some bounce, with the extra weight and The FFB strength with the wheel. They gave me a free cup holder lol, nice of them. Good bargain if you live in the UK, but a bit pricey if you live in the USA, with the shipping costs,,,it is a heavy bit of kit.

Nah it wasn't so bad. It was about 500 for the unit with mods and 400 to ship. In america these go for well over 1000 bucks so I actually saved money and got the best brand of these racing cockpit simulators.

Good on ya Johnnie buiding your own stuff. All my kids are adults now with their own kids, so 6 grandchildren are an expense at this time of the year for me. :)
