Quest 3 VR Controls

I cannot figure out how to actually play this game.

I can launch the game in VR and am sat on the track looking around, but cannot start the car. My Quest controllers do nothing, I also have an XBox pad which also does nothing. I have selected X360 pad in the menus. What am I supposed to do to actually get a working interface in this game?

Considering it's advertised as VR compatible, it's very awkward to actually get this feature to work compared to any other game I have tried.

Quest controllers aren't supported. You need to use a windows USB controller. It's a 10-year-old game being kept alive by the community. Have a look at Content Manager tutorials on YouTube,

Quest controllers are supported through content manager, however there isnt all that much you can do, compared to Beamng.drive where you can interact with latches, etc. You can set it so that the hands in-game track the controllers movement or hand movements, but its really not much more than that, its more designed to feel more realistic.

With the index i was able to drive from the steering in the car, only the index no g29 or whatever. i guess its support issue.

Yeah, I'm having the same trouble. Steamlink doesn't work properly. If you manage to get into VR mode (which is quite a feat in itself), it won't pick up the controller, so you just sit there doing nothing. It's really quite maddening. I gave a bad review since I can't actually play the game in VR.

So with the headset you can just look around and feel immersed in the game, but you use the steering wheel to drive? If so isnt that what youd want, to drive with a wheel?

Setup your controls before you run the game in VR. However, just to warn you, AC is kinda terrible to play with any control scheme but racing wheels. It was really made exclusively with racing wheels in mind. You can play with other controllers, but it's not ideal.
