Windows removed the Content Manager exe and all is fine now.
Must of hit a bad download link.
I reckon it was the Pure Weather download link.
Kept going to different pages.
Obviously it rewrites the registry. How else is it going to do what it does? The fact is that it's a benign program.
No way is Steam spreading viruses, so you're talking BS.
In another thread dated July 10th they says ACS is just trying to read logifiles but access is denied. So you should be able to add exceptions to false-positive triggering.
That's why it's important to always download from the official sites
From where?
Bookmark the official site for future: https://acstuff.ru/app
Pure has only one place to download from. What you mean bad link? You should pop over to the Pure Patreon (where you paid for a Sub) and let them know. ?
I read some years ago that Some Steam dev accounts were hacked causing some games to be uploaded with malware however since steam introduced a double authentication via the games devs personal mobile phone connected to their steam account, as a developer without this double authentication, you cannot longer update your game on the steam platform and send out updates. This makes it much harder for hackers to access devs accounts as they would need access to this phone for authentication. If a virus/malware was to appear on steam, it'll be directly the Devs fault or they allowed someone access to the steam authentication phone for that devs account
AC has been flagged as a virus before by AVs. The guy you are calling for BS might be quite confused, but hes likely telling not "lying".
Has nothing to do with steam hacking or their checks and authentications, just AVs being ♥♥♥♥.
