Split Screen mode?
So yeah... I would like to buy this game but I wonder, will be there split screen mode (or mod that will give us that option)? Dirt 3 got it, Grid 2 got it etc. I like to compete with my friends with my PC connected to the TV that's why I'm asking this question.

I dont want to be a party pooper but I dont think its going to happen. Although I'm not a dev or any form of AC employee. You could get your friend to get his own PC at his house/or not then open another Steam account and buy AC twice. Thats what we do.

Why reply like a tool to some honest advice?

There is no split screen, only way to play with your mates is online in your own server or on someone elses.

Because we like challange but we don't have time to just sit whenever we want at home and play... besides I prefer to laugh at his face when I beat him. It's sad how your advice is to made us not meet each other. I am potential customer and I alwayes played games with split screen. Just yesterday I played SpeedRunners, Blur, Split/Second, Dirt, Ultra SF 4 with my friends... if game or mods can not provide what I'm looking for in the game then I just don't buy it. Simple as that :) That's why I'm asking.

Wasn't my point, but yeah I get what you're saying.

My mates bring their laptops over and we play Assetto Corsa online in our own server, you just can't play split screen. This isn't your average video game, it is more of a simulation and those kind of modes aren't required by the majority of SIM racers.

Well Dirt 3 is semi simulation from what I know. We don't have laptops that can run games... I am not rich to have pc, laptop, and three consoles. Another thing is that steam prices are too high in my country and they don't want to change our payment system so my every decision needs to be made for 100% If there is no hope for split screen I'm not gonna buy this game. Thanks anyway :)

I don't want to sound harsh but if those are the games you are playing you may not want to get Assetto Corsa.

Well what am I supposed to play if there is not much choice? Race 07 is not for multiple people, just like rFactor, Life For Speed or anything...

For split screen you will have to play the games you already mentioned above, racing simulations don't have split screen I'm afraid.

Not all of us are rich, I have to save up money for the hardware and titles I want to buy, if you want to play a proper simulation against your friend you will each need a computer and buy a copy of the simulation.

No other way around it.

I'm being serious actually. Micro Machines is one of the greatest local multiplayer racing games ever created.

Your loss if you are not willing to try it.
