Where is the hood (bonnet)?
In hood cam, I dont see the hood. Also cant find FOV/POV, because maybe thats why I cant see the hood. Also cannot find seat fwd, back, up, down.

Thanks, who would have guessed that. I guess thats not the problem with the missing hood. I tried all diff seat settinga and FOV but still no hood.

Sure you're not on the bumper cam by accident?
Maddawg Dec 20, 2014 @ 10:43pm
Nope, got two views of the track, one high, one low.
SeriousSpy Dec 20, 2014 @ 10:49pm
Hmm, is this on any car or all of them?
Maddawg Dec 21, 2014 @ 3:48pm
Yep, all of them.

I just checked my new clean install of AC and all is well here for Changing View. The change view option is not mapped to anything.
Go to Options - Controls - Secondary and then you can map the 'change camera' to the keyboard or wheel. I mapped it to a button on my wheel and it worked fine in game.
good luck!

Open the camera app on from the menu and reset your view. Now press F1. It should cycle through the views.

I have a wheel button mapped to the camera. I reinstalled the game thinking maybe I had a corrupt file. Nope, same thing. No hood.

Camera app? Where? The right side of the screen? All I see there is Camera Editor. No way to access and change anything there.

Try Help App, icon is "?", this says F1 cycles view.

Ok, I know about that, but there is no hood view. My FOV is set at 104 that can't be the problem because I think that is the default.

How many and which views you have, when you cycle through them, using F1 key?

104 FOV could be the problem.

No man stop this madness, . Move the mouse cursor the right of the screen when you are in game and on the track, you have to be on the track, not in pits, on the track. Move the mouse cursor to the right, a side bar will pop up, navigate to the camera views, reset it , put the FOV to 55. get the view inside the cockpit so you can see the dashboard like you would in a car, now press F1. if this doesnt work then i dont know what to do.

56 is the default. And the app Johnnie is referring to is called 'onboard settings'. (a helmet in the icon)
