WTF?
I forget how out of the loop people are. So many angry trolls.
A quick search yeilded this. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/under-the-hood/trends-innovations/top-10-car-tech-from-racing.htm
http://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/le-mans-tech/
This has been going on since the wheel was invented, What you call out of the loop is what we have known all along, You still need to learn what I have forgot.
Make up your mind. I am waiting for serious spys other buddies to chime in.
Lots of anger here. Time to take a chill pill dude. Your Post history says you are a pretty mean guy.
This is one my more prefered sims. I was not complaining about the game itself.
To be honest I am totally wasting my time here with you angry guys.
Oh, FFS.
Again?
You literally have zero clue as to how companies work with laserscans (or even what a laserscan is), and the near-infinite amount of legal hoops that need to be jumped through.
Kunos aren't "trolling" - you're just (still) a clueless twit.
Apparently you did not interpret my post. There is no need to do laser scans, they already exist in excess. As far as licensing, they had to get it to be able to use it for the trainer. Obviously the track owner wants a separate license, but that could be worked out. Bottom line is the most important part is already done many times over.
The paper work end is always harder than the job itself. I know all too well about patents and licensing. I hold several patents. I hate them, but it is a necessary evil. The idea is a lot easier than the paper work behind it to protect it.
Some sort of glitch with the formating........
Show me one scrap of actual evidence that demonstrates Kunos having actual laser-scans of more tracks than they've announced for AC...
There - is - no - database.
At least not one which exists in the capacity you claim that it does.
If it did, we'd see the content in AC - if it was as cheap and easy as you (incorrectly) assume it to be.
Actually think about it:
Why wouldn't Kunos beef-up their product, if it'd only require a couple of the loose pennies under the couch?
It'd be completely stupid not to capitalise on already aquired assets.
You're basing your entire argument on an incorrect assumption, which is why I'm led to swinging insults at you -- pure frustration.
Cruden, rfactor pro, and kunos all offer similar services to the racing professionals. You really should check into the links I drop. They back up my claims, if you navigate beyond the first page. You actually have to have an interest, or you won’t read it.
Posted again with a more direct link. Its alot of work to read, but all the pieces are there.

Eiter way I dont really need a sim. I have some really fun cars I get to put on the track a few times a year. I just cant afford to go on the tracks more than that.
Probably because most gamers dont behave professionally, as we have all seen here.
Money.
DriftMachine, do you have any idea how much of an idiot you're making yourself look like? Not to mention how little you understand about economics, or licencing...
I've seen toddlers comprehend information with more clarity.
Enjoy the journey down this wonderous rabbit-hole filled with your own dillusional fantasies.
In the end it's not a waste of my time for you to chase after things that don't/won't ever (understandably) exist for standard consumers.
