Mercedes SLS slightly underpowered? Your opinion?

Hi,
So this is something I wanted to share with you guys a long time ago, but didn't have quite enough time.
I do a lot of driving with Ferrari 458 Italia, Mclaren MP4-12c and Mercedes SLS in Assetto Corsa and I've observed a lot of things.
It's clear that Mclaren MP4-12c is the fastest out of these 3 on a track and straight, in real world also.
Ferrari is the best in corners and has an amazing gearbox, just like in real world.
Mercedes seems to be the slowest here. And I don't mean corners because it's obvious SLS isn't a track car, as it wants to slide.
However I have some doubts about it's power on straights. For example Top Gear UK showed that SLS and 458 are equally fast in terms of straight speed.
I've tested Ferrari and Mercedes on the drag 1000m track and went all the way until I hit the wall (so 2000m maybe)
Mercedes was significantly slower in the beginning and I was driving 304km/h when hit the wall.
Ferrari was much faster in the beginning and kept the lead, as I was driving 312km/h when hit the wall.
Then I tried racing with AI, giving it 458 and me SLS. I lost by a big margin.
After that I took the 458 and AI SLS. I won by a big margin.

Shouldn't the difference be smaller between these cars in terms of straight speed?

Fifth gear did a good review of the 458 and 12c, they really wanted to like the 12c but couldnt but loved the 458.

The standard SLS is far from these 2. The SLS is a sporty cruiser more then all out supercar so it matches up to othr cars in that class

Here is an sls roadster review cant find many dry tests by good drivers in any sls but it shows the twitchy handling of it quite well here.

Here is Chris Harris in the SLS black edition which would be nice to have in AC and would be much closer to the 458 and mp4. Unfortunatly as it is the SLS doesnt have any car very close to it to race against in AC.

In the GT3 races at Spa i usually use the Mercedes as it appears i have a slight edge over the Mclarens because the top end speeds down the long straights help make up for the slower speeds thru the turns. I love the Mclarens and they excel on tecnical tracks like Mugello where i can win over the Mercedes.

I think the op is discussing the street variants the gt3 cars are much closer in performance, they all have their own strengths and weaknesses but overall laptimes are pretty close. The street SLS is in a different class to the 458 and 12C.

Out of the GT cars I enjoy BMW Z4 GT3 the most. Beautiful sound, good and predictable feeling.

It would not surprise me at all if the SLS was slower than the 458 in game, but not necessarily in real life. I think that a few factors may explain this however:

1. Tires: Exactly what sort of tires are being used on these cars? If they use tires specifically meant to work with the standard setup for the 458 and SLS respectively (i.e. not one single tire for all cars) then that may have something to do with it. It is also my suspicion that the 458 would do better on sem-slicks than the SLS.

2. Improper modeling: This is pretty straightforward, the suspension could be wrong, the aerodynamics could be wrong, and (perhaps most likely) the weight of the cars could be wrong. In addition, I can get the 458 to launch cleanly but I can't manage that with the SLS. The SLS either goes off in a blaze of smoking tires, or drops down to about 1500 rpm and scurries away.

Either way I do feel that the SLS is a bit off.
