Mouse steering help, please

My friend has cerebral palsy and the only way he can play this game is through a head mouse setup. We tried to get this working for him, but everytime mouse steering is enabled the cursor locks in the "essentials app thingy". And to know where he is steering with the mouse he needs to see the cursor movement.

So.. is there an option hidden somewhere to unlock the mouse cursor movement when mouse steering is enabled? If not, DEVELOPERS.. please add this in the game :)

the devs cant even get digital throttle/brake to work. i guess your problem will also be very low on the priority list if they can fix it at all :/

When I use the mouse steering feature, the mouse gets locked in the center of the steering wheel, from the car in game. Then you control the steering wheel by moving the mouse left/right. So your friend should focus on the movement of the steering wheel, by moving the mouse left and right.

In game, press ctrl+M to disable mouse steering, then you can move the mouse and move the apps. Press ctrl+M again to enable mouse steering.

Ctrl M works when mouse steering is activated in Controls, when handling the car with keyboard or other controller the mouse pointer isn't locked.
