Uploading a video help pls

Basicly if i try and upload a Assetto Corsa replay to youtube it fails. Is it possible to upload a replay file?. I have tried to convert the file type but that dosent work either.

What are you using to record the video and what format is it in? It could just be your internet.

You can upload replay files but whoever wants to watch them also has to have Assetto Corsa in order to watch them.

I just tried to upload the replay file from mydocs/assetto corsa/replay. Then tried converting the file.

Ok, that's not a video file. What you can do is load the replay file in the game, press play and record the footage using something like FRAPS, although file sizes from FRAPS can be huge as it can be set to not lose any quality.

What graphics card do you have? most decent nvidia and AMD GPU's have their own recording software these days. I use nvidia ShadowPlay myself and anytime I want to record what's on my screen I just have to press Alt+F8 to start/stop the recording and then drag that video file from documents/video/assettocorsa to YouTube.

PlayClaw is what I use to record game footage, its available on Steam but you have to buy it, a demo is available though.

If you have a nvidia card shadowplay works great for it once you set the format to youtube standards so it does not take forever to upload and process it.

my replay wont load when i have shadowplay on. I get lots of error msg's that i have to click ok on. Its a pain, puts me off trying it again.

Ok you'll be able to record with the max quality settings without losing much, if any FPS.

If you don't have GeForce Experience already you'll need to get that from the nVidia website, run it and set up shadowplay in the menu, it's dead easy.

I usually set the quality to custom and just max it all out and it records at whatever my in game resolution is and whatever my framerate is at the time. It can take a while to upload but I'm in the UK with a horrible upload speed (Virgin Media) - I did a 10 minute video at 1440p highest settings last night and the file size was 3.53GB so it took over 2 hours to upload.

What errors are you getting? Can you start the replay and then hit the hotkey to start the shadowplay recording?

Try going to the track in a car and see if you get errors when starting the shadowplay recording and see what happens. I set my shadowplay to manual recording.

If I have shodowplay running and then start the game and load replay, it starts to load gets to loading about car 7 or 8 I think then little popup appears saying error loading something or other. when i click ok there is about 100 or so more similar popups behind it that i have to click through.
