G27 is detected as Logitech Driving force! PICTURE [SOLVED]

Whenever i run the logitech profiler it shows up as the Logitech driving force. And when i check the drivers it says logitech driving force. So the drivers for the G27 is not installed. And that makes it unable to use the G27 in any game, and its really frustrating

--Stuff i have tried--

- I have tried to uninstall the drivers completely and rebbooted my PC, and thiss the LDF drivers get installed.

- Downloaded new drivers, but whenever i start the Profiler the drivers for the LDF gets installed anyways, its just replaces everything

- I have checked the version for the Profiler and it is up to date

And i have now had my G27 in three years now and have not encountered this problem before.

I dont get it, because it has worked perfectly before but 2 weeks ago this happened and i have not been unabe to find a fix for it. And i have tried contacting Logitech but they suck and have no fix for it either. So im sitting here helpless begging for the Steam Community's help.

It didn't fix my problem. I'm on 8.1 and I have to reinstall the drivers for my Driving Force GT every time I want to use it. Otherwise it gets detected as a "Driving Force USB" and doesn't work.

Had same Problem None of the above suggestion worked., my G27 was detected as "G27 wheel" in device and printer (windows 10), but the games and the Logitech Profiler software would only see "Logitech Driving Force".

- Wheel plugged in, I uninstalled the drivers from the Device Manager and checked (enabled) the option "Delete the driver software for this device"
- Unpluged my wheel from USB
- Uninstalled Logitech Profiler
- Reinstalled the drivers from http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g27-racing-wheel
-The software installation should ask you to plug in your Wheel. DON'T GET CONFUSED BY THE PROFILER ASKING YOU TO PLUG IT IN.

Note: If the INSTALLER doesn't ask you to plug your wheel in the USB port, that means that the installed re-used your old drivers. You need to removed the drivers from the device manager, NOT the device and printers, and then make sure to check the option to remove the drivers from your computer.

- When the profiler comes up on the screen, click DEVICE, SELECT DEFAULT, you should see G27 RACING WHEEL USB ON ID xx (xx is the port it is plugged in) with your G27 picture.

I think selecting the option to remove the drivers from my computer was what fixed it, because it kept reusing the drivers for Logitech Driving Force.

This is how I fixed mine, hope that this will help others.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Logitech Gaming Software v.5.10 fixes the issue for me, but only until the next reboot. So far, the video's solution is still working the next day. As an aside, any of you guys also have the Logitech G19 keyboard and G502 mouse? Since it requires a different version of Logitech Gaming Software (v.8.57), I thought these might be conflicting. (You'd think Logitech could release a unified controller that recognizes all their products...)

None of the above solved the problem for me, the permanent solution in Windows 11 was to completely uninstall the drivers from the device manager, unplug the wheel, install the Logitech Profiler 5.10, disable core isolation in Windows Defender, restart and plug the wheel back in, it works perfectly, I hope it helps.
