anyone know if there is a key to accelerate time during practice and qualifying? be fooked if i can find it!

You may very well be correct sir. There seems to be nothing to offer me here if instead of applauding right over wrong, that I will continually get harassed instead of the person deserving it. I am in the right about the rudeness no matter who agrees with me and have no remorse or shame. If I get banned it will only prove my point further. Wrong seems to be appreciated over right these days. Those unlike me who simply let these things happen are part of the problem in this world the last two decades. I chose the high road and am fed up with many trashy things I see transpire in the forums daily. I have a right to a pleasant experience too. I come here to read the forums, help when I can and do a lot, and watch videos posted etc to enhance the experience.

Some of us think before we type instead of offending others. Whereas some here clearly in the wrong are offended by my replies to them which are never full of hate nor one single starred out expletive. Did you notice how quickly I recanted when someone mentioned about my use of the word fool? It is called sucking up one's pride and admitting they went over the line. What I see here is offensive, but is that any reason to let the rude ones win by just putting up with it?

It would be a nice change to see these forums more closely moderated. Thank you

Indeed, this is not the first or only forum where GoldenBear (aka Skidsplat) has caused upset.

He did indeed report TRCThrobbinnhood for having an offensive name and avatar, neither of which anyone else else does. He claimed that these were not names you would want your children to see yet one of his own aliases in SkidMarks. Not exactly child friendly by his own definition.

People would do well to avoid this man like the plague. He is always offering unwanted advice yet never listens to what he says.

Plus, although he has "unsubscribed" from this forum amongst others, he is still reading and posting.

If you want to start a new career, you can just do the events again, and they will update with your new results/medals.

You can delete the career progress in C:\Users\QUF\Documents\Assetto Corsa\launcherdata\filestore, and delete or backup the career.ini file. Then when you open the game, you'll start Career from the start.

thanks for the advice but i will stick with project cars now, not impressed with the shoddy work from kunos, the driving experience is great but not including a advance time option for race weekends and sessions is ridiculous, i have no desire to put a blistering lap in then sit and wait for up to 60 mins thru practice and qual just to get to the main race....crazy!

I have been able to skip practice and qualify sessions. If that wouldn't be possible, a lot of people would complain about it, and your post was the first one I saw about this subject.

ok in career mode you cannot skip session until a.i. have completed 3 laps yet there seems to always be one car sat on 2 laps for over 20 mins each session, and its not a case of skipping the session i just want to put a hot lap in the speed up time to see if any a.i. better it then slow it back down to normal and possibly go again...you can do this in all racing games bar this one.

Yea the time multiplier is locked when you do career championships where each race is full weekend mode, with practice, qualify, race. Usually the practice and qualify are 30min each from the series I saw.
Do you want to accelerate time, like the cars would travel 2x faster or just world time, independent of the cars travelling speed..

There is nothing shoddy about how the game was made, is a design choice, they don't need to follow strictly how other sim racing games are.

lol no do not want to accelerate the actual driving, that would be insane! just the time during sessions after i have put in a hotlap. I just think its crazy not to have the option. I timed the last one, 51 mins had elapsed before i started the race proper, it's just too long for me, in other racing games i can put a hotlap in early doors, accelerate say 10 mins, if another car has bettered it i can then go back out and try beat it etc etc, either way i get practice and qual done within 15 mins or so, assetto just takes too long for my liking.

its the T2 series at mugello in career mode...i could be missing something that was the reason for the post initially as i do not want to give up on assetto, i really like the driving side its better than pc.

The t2 series at mugello (ferrari 458 trofeo), is a single race, without practice and qualifying sessions.
