you need to install a sound fix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1iwjtk82G0
read the video comments for any doubts.

@Johnnie Concrete, nice! most helpful of comments.

@SWAGDRAGONTUESDAY It's possible that that mod is quite old, check if there is [DATA] category in "aero.ini" (it's inside "data" folder). If it is, delete it and every line below it until next category (bracketed name) and the mod should work.
quf May 14, 2015 @ 3:02pm
you need to delete the [data] section from aero.ini file from your mods /data folder, in the place where you installed.

do i need to delete them all for each mod?

yes if that specific mod makes the game crash, you need to remove the [data] section.

I think every mod that was created before 1.15 (or 1.14 was it) contains the now invalid [DATA] section in it's aero.ini file, so if the mod was not updated by the developer, it has to be done manually for each old mod.

Oh wait you probably mean, each "upgrade version" of a given car, then yes you have to go and edit every aero.ini for every car version. Fortunately it's pretty easy :)

i prolly did something wrong but i tried and yeah nothing hsppend

search for an update to that mod, delete the old and install a new version.

What car are you trying to run?
If it's the "240sx_2jz_final" it should work after editing the aero.ini file.
If it's the "240sx_RB" after deleting the [data] section the car will work too, although will need sound fix. Remember you have to delete the whole section from [DATA] line to (but not including) [WING_0] line (assuming wing_0 is the next one, as it is in most cars).

Are there any others 240's ?

edit: found an old 5car 240sx pack zipped on hdd, after editing the aero.ini it worked too... but there was some issues with the sounds so idk it might not work on your PC (make sure you edit all cars and try different versions).
As QUF mentioned, updated version would be best but if it's an old illegal conversion mod you are probably out of luck.

None of my cars even have a DATA folder where i can find the aero.ini. Where is it?
moz9rt-art Mar 13, 2017 @ 12:38pm
typically today, only modded cars have data folder. i found that nissan 240sx 2jz gte mod

theres just one problem
i managed to spawn it by deleting the data code lines inside aero.ini as mentioned.
Thankfully that worked ty

but...the steering was backwards, left became right, right was left. So i replaced car.ini from similar nissan mod.

fixed but new problem, now it sinks in the ground. i start the engine and she turns into a bumbling mess.

im sure its easy to fix, i have no idea how to fix that one.
