Last event in Intermediate Series 1 - Can't beat it

I'm trying to beat the last event in the Intermediate Series 1 of Career mode. There is a Ferrari 458 Italia Stage 3 that shows up that always finishes way in first. Even putting the opponent strength at 80%, he still puts in about a 1:59 which is probably doable by some of you, but I can't do that in the McLaren. I am doing about 2:02.

At 85% opponent strength he puts in a 1:54. Is this even possible to beat in the MP4-12C? Please help me with a setup, as I'm just using the default one right now.

How do I beat this? I'm obsessed with getting all golds.

Pretty sure it's a bug.
There's always been an issue when selecting cars, and the game defaults to the S3 458 instead of the stock one - like it does with every other car.

Personally, I changed the event file and switched the S3 to the stock one.

I literally don't think it's physically possible to beat a 100% AI driving an S3 in a stock 12C.

i played that 1 yesterday i was 40 seconds off him wasnt the best run i had got caught up at the beginning
