Moving the views

Is there a way to move the seating position in the incar view and to move further back from the car in the swingman car view ? Maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to find it. Do I have to edit a file ?

all f1 to f7 will change camera angles (in practice/race and replay), and press several times each button for other angles. There's also onvoard app where you can change seat position. But I think the one you're looking for is either in F4, F5, or F6. But just try all from f1 to f7 multiple times each button.

QUF the "F" keys only switched views.

♥samantha♥ I never knew about the apps. THANKS !! Unfortunetly though there is only an adjustment for the incar view. There is a camera app but that is just for taking pictures. I've looked through the ini files and can't find anything there unless I missed something. Maybe I should request support to add that in. LOL !!

Is called onboard app, is one of the first apps from top. There you can move the seat position, fov, pitch.

Yes I found that but I also want to move the FOV in the Swingman view and have not found a way yet.

Can you post a screenshot of which camera view you want? or want to edit the fov/angle.

It is the view from the back of the car above the wing.

You mean the chase cam? Like 3rd person view?

That is under F1 cameras. But could you find a video on youtube of assetto corsa where you can see the camera view you're looking for?

I can see the view but I want to move it back further from the car. Some games call it the swingman or the chase view.

Select the F5 cam and move the view with the mouse by grabbing it with left click and zoom out with mouse wheel.

WOW !! That is an unusual way to do it. First time I have seen it done that way. With that view it seems like the car is on a stick. LOL !! Usually the car will pivot or swing when you turn. Maybe someday they will make it realistic or like most other games. THANKS for all your help !!!!
