I also have the FFB down enough to prevent clipping, but I just feel like the wheel isn't communicating enough with me or know exactly how. I feel like it should be common sense ie. this vibration means this and that...I just wish someone could make a video break down of it. Maybe I'm just a bad driver.
Also I hate how you can't adjust the wheel settings while in practice etc.
I find the FFB in AC to be very good, I can feel the kerbs, bumps and camber on the track. I do sometimes add 1 or 2 to the drift setting directly on the wheel, to make it feel a little more responsive to correct- but other than that the wheel settings remain at 100 and default.
Have you tried installing Fanaleds? For me it makes the wheel feel different in AC- maybe you'd prefer the FFB from it or it might affect the CSR differently, but give it a try and load up AC and see if it does anything for you.
