Modded tracks won't load
Hello all, I have been trying to add some new track mods to AC however whenever I try to load the new track the game just sits on the loading screen. I have installed many different cars and have gotten all of those to work. I am extracting the track files to the folder assetto corsa > content > tracks. Thanks for any help.

open the file, open another track file that works in another window, compare them and see if anything is missing, i had same issues with a couple of tracks i added and found they were not complete in structure.

Find assettocorsa.ini in \assettocorsa\system\cfg and change this line as such:

WARNINGS_AS_ERRORS=0

you're not dropping them into mydocuments are you?

Tracks go here

\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks

The files seems to all be complete. My file was already set to warnings_as_errors=0. And no I am not dropping them into documents. Anything else I could try? Thanks

Make absolutely sure you've extracted them properly. Your folder/filestructure should be along the lines of (in this example, Snoopy's nord);

*Your Steam-games install-folder*\assettocorsa\content\tracks\nord_snoopy_1.1\

and within that folder you should see subfolders like ai, data, sfx, ui AND files like the track's .kn5-file and map.png

Note: some mods require you to extract just to the specific folder, whether it be \cars or \tracks and some to the main installation folder, in which cases the .zip (or whatever) will contain a folder 'content', usually.

Ok I got it to work. I tried a new extracting program and the tracks are working fine. I do not think the old one was extractng them properly. Thanks!

@ OP, what program did you use originally?
Detonator97 Jan 22, 2015 @ 12:53pm
I was originally using WinZip and I switched to Peazip

Peazip?
I'd suggest either winrar or 7zip. Either one unzip every imaginable archive and are popular, most likely the orignialy compression would be using one of those two.
