Tyre/ Tire Squeal

Anybody else having a problem with the tyres being extremely loud?
Its always bugged me but today i wanted to hear the mightyness of the Cobra V8 so stuck on my headphones and the squeal is actually drowning out the engine even under load!
I expect to hear a bit of the tyres obviously but they would not drown out the sound of a V8 (especialy the Cobra)
I have turned tyre and surface audio down to 0 in the menu, but still the tyres are louder than the engine even at low speeds.
Really getting in the way of me turning it up for some lovely V8 hillclimb action.
So basically has anybody fixed this or even experienced it?

Not a problem for me I have no tire Squeal sound but no engine sound either. :(
Hope there is another hotfix soon. Lots of sounds problems I did'nt have in rc1.00
