Won't Launch...**SOLVED**

Hello all, just did the last update and now the game will not lanch. I can get to the main menu and pick a car and course etc., but it goes to the load screen and says it's loading the "car' and just stays at that screen. I had no issues before on this Windows 7 64 bit laptop, suggestions?

Load only original car and track, see if it works that way without mods first.

I got the same problem as 7 of Moo. Game loads track and when car loads screen becomes black and then throw you back to the starting screen. Does the same with original cars and tracks. Please help. Only started doing this after the last update.

I think your antivirus firewall blocked acs.exe Restore it and add to exception list.

I did do it, still the same problem. Firewall is allowing ac.exe and assetto corsa through.

start the game in window mode (fullscreen off).

Hello again, well I have added the .exe files to allow in my antivirusand I am not running any mods and like before I can go to the main screen and check settings etc. and the game will freeze when it is at the 'car' loading screen..not sure where the turn fullscreen setting is. I had turned off the rendering for fullscreen, but that just stops the program from running at all. I could delete local content and start over, but don't really want to do that...thoughts? TX...D

I found that my game only does this in single car practise mode. If you go into race mode, everything loads ok: Stumped lol

Sorry, now it does the same in race mode as well. Please help!!! BTW what does it mean to " delete local content " ?

Same thing here, I've tried going into 'race' mode and it still locks up at car loading screen, guess like you say- next stop is official support...tx anyways...D

Nuts, I'll just go play my other racing games until they get around to fixing it. Got enough grief in my life without fixing their problems too.

The problem may be on your side and likely it will need to be corrected on your PC. Just post to the link above. Sometimes it only takes a little effort to fix these problems.

Now I have the problem that although I have signed up at the support forum, I must now associate my steam account before I get answers, and I can't get my steam account to be associated, Am I that stupid?
