Project CARS is going to be great but will get boring very soon I think. The lack of cars and modding potential is going to cost them a lot of players if they don't frequently release new cars.

Whilst I prefer the physics in AC, driving the Atom Supercharged at night in the pooring rain with a G27 is a lot of fun.

I fired up AC and PCARS for my brother and his friend to play, neither of them have a PC and are console gamers - they both thought PCARS was easier and more fun.

I bet if I did the same for two PC sim racers they'd find AC better as it's more of a challenge driving wise.

AC,RF2, R3E, PCARS are all great. The modding potential of AC and RF2 makes them the best value.

An article I read said this is the deadliest race course on the planet for drivers with 276 drivers killed if I remember correctly.

PCARS seems to drive more like this overall than AC to me.

Some cars such as the Lotus 49 are much harder to drive in PCARS. I prefer the AC version because I just can't imagine the Lotus 49 was as hard to handle as PCARS makes it.

I also have both, latest build Project cars and 1.1.4 Assetto Corsa. I could write a massive pro's and con's about both but after 400+ hours on both, Assetto is the winner. It just is, case closed.
My opinion I know but Project is catering for the consoles and it feels like it compared to the dedicated pc title like assetto. Most pc racers will have space for both but whatever assetto has, Project can't compare right now, whatever project has that assetto doesn't right now, assetto will get. To be this close on a vastly different sized team and budget just shows the future potential of assetto. Project will be a release it, forget it and without mods.

Ahaaaaa, Pcars is the racing game cross platform semi simulative, assetto corsa, iracing, rfactor and Rbr are best racing simultive in the world.

Isle of man it's a very cool track, I hope some day anbody convert to AC. Here 1 lap with a Chevrolet Sonic Stock Car V8 from Game Stock Car Extreme (the original track is from rFactor)...

Its already available for AC- It is a awesome track to race on, especially when you run with fog- for the typical UK weather...

It's based on the GPL version, so about half-size.

Hopefully somebody will convert the full version once it gets made.
