Here is an example of a race on my server, most were locals but the car starting just to my left number 22 yellow and black is from the IS with a 190 ping. The server is in Australia as were most others on.

Also people whos computers are struggling in larger fields may cause some warping even with a lower and stable ping. If that 200 ping was a local person whos ping has climbed then they will be warping all over the place. But Ive had some great hard and close races with people uo to 300 pings.
On my servers Of I see someone warping I ask them to leave and if not I have to kick them. There are a few good local guys that have the odd crappy periods with their connection and start to warp. All these guys know this now and so will pull out if its happening otherwise they will likely be kicked. If there is any guy with a higher ping warping about then they will simply be kicked but if they are solid then there is no issue.
I see. Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out out of curiosity. I did notice my ping jumping one night in another racing game but imediately knew it was me. But hasn't happened since as far as i can tell.
Nice racing by the way. Really clean except for the blue car getting a bit excited on the inside ;)
It would also be great if when someones connection starts to act up if their car would ghost rather then take others out of the race. Ive had this happen in a couple league races recently with guys on low pings under 40 climb then warp back up to 100m. I will need to make a video showing this from our last races as there is nothing you can do about it.
With ping limits if someone climbs above a certain amount they should be ghosted for a set time and if they dont get back under kicked from the server. Unfortunatly anyone warping badly makes it near impossible to drive within 50m of them and so they will need to sort out their own connections if they want to remain on servers.
In most cases when there have been guys on my servers complaining of high pings and warping they were a local with an unstable connection and were the only ones warping not those with higher pings.
