How to install DLC?
Sorry for my stupidity, never bought nor downloaded any DLC on Steam so not sure how it works. I'm currently at school away from my gaming PC, but the internet at my house is so bad I usually download games here, and use an external hard drive to tranfer over to the gaming rig. I just bough the DLC, and it brought up the screen to install and clicked install nothing happened. AC isn't on this PC because I can't run the game on this without crashing. So currently installing AC, should be done shortly but I will be off to class for the rest of the day so posting this now so when I get back I can fix it. But should the DLC just run itself or how exactly does it work? I don't see it in my library, but I do know I have it. Any help is appreciated.

hey there. no the DLC dont run itself it needs AC Fullgame. I think because it contained the 1.1 patch also. So when you get home and start your PC it should download it. It could be possible that you can paste the data from your harddrive into the AC Main Folder but im not sure about that! Otherwise you need to download these 2.2 GB from Dreampack again. Hope that helps. greetings

The DLC and the 1.1 version are 2 different things. The 1.1 version is for everybody (as with all patches and fixes).

For checking the DLC, just right click on Assetto Corsa in your library, go to properties and then the DLC tab. It should be there. You can also see your DLCs in the details view of the library.

DLCs in Steam works like patches, so you buy them and your game updates with the new data you bought, is not an independant game.

If you have chosen to install the base game the DLC will likely get installed at the same time. There are a number of ways you can check this...

If your library is set to detail view, there should be a boxed area for DLC you own. In there you'll see a checkbox, if it is ticked the DLC will install.

You can also right click Assetto Corsa in your library, select properties and go to the DLC tab. From there you can tick/untick DLC to install/uninstall.
