Handbrake indicator?
Hello,

Is there any kind of indicator (UI or virtual cockpit) that handbrake is on or off? I mean you stop the car, put it to the Neutral and pull the hand brake like in real life. Then push the hand brake, put the car in the first gear and start going.

Is there any kind of indication in the game? So far I have to remember whether I pressed handbrake button or not.

There is no indicator, but if your handbrake is set as Button, then is pretty self explanatory if you press the button then handbrake is on, if you release the button then handbrake is off. I don't know how it works with handbrake set as axis, but when set as button, then is like a on/off switch.

I think it should work as press - Turn On, press the button again - Turn Off. For example when parking in the pits. It should not work only while holding the button depressed.

I am asking about indication because if you drive with handbrake ON this will affect handling of the car.

But you won't drive with handbrake on, never. Since with button bind, is press and release. It doesn't hold it automatically when you press.

And what is with headlights? I have also the button binding on my MOMO Force steering wheel and I don't see them on replays too. Horn is working normally with wheel button.

The headlights in replay are a bit buggy, is like you need to turn on headlights then off, and maybe back on, then watch it in replay. Just experiment with that.

I'm missing this option not only in AC. For drifting it is useful if handbrake is on only when button is depressed, but when you want to stop somewhere in slope you need actually use handbrake permanently just like in real car. And yes you can in real life drive common FWD car with handbrake on or partially on.

The answer?

Build a usb handbrake with complete locking ratchet system. You know you want to.
