Are multiple profiles possible?
Is there a way to setup multiple profiles? Or any other way of switching betweening drivers to keep my and my 'home competion' (re: the darn son-in-law) lap times separate?

Clicking profile in-game seems to let me edit my photo and name, etc, but not setup a new profile. I hope I'm simly missing something somewhere.

Thanks.

("darn"-son-in-law... simply because his lap times are about 1/2 second faster than mine :-)

I don't think family sharing would work because we're simply taking turns in the cockpit. Switching users could possibly work if our individual driving sessions were longer. As it is, we get a few laps to warm up and then switch as soon as one of us screams through the first tight corner at Monza too fast and messes up their valid time.

Two different folders... is an option... maybe even create a batch file to automatically rename them... but still an easier way would be nice.

In a perfect world being able to simply restart the hotlap session and switch user would be ideal.

It sounds like I wasn't missing something obvious though. Maybe, he'll just need to keep lapping under my profile and we'll use the whiteboard to keep track.

Hi BBBrox,

Any solution found? I'm having a similar case.

Hello,

Not that I know of. I've got a notebook with cars, drivers, tracks, and laptimes. I haven't actually checked recently to see if there are any mods that could help. I should do that.

Wow, my original post was over 3 years ago, and I still play AC. Crazy. I still think if offers the best car feel, and race experience (for hotlapping, at least) of any sim. Thinking back, 3 years ago I was running on a monitor instead of VR... seems odd now.

Happy racing

yes, sorry for that confrontation and thank you for the prompt reply. Im new to AC so not yet up to speeds with the mod-framework. Will ask my friend Google

No worries. New to AC... welcome and enjoy.

If there isn't a mod, then either whiteboard or notepad does work. It adds a bit of 'old school' racing feel to it :-) It's also fun to check real world times for tracks/cars and add those times to your list.

Even with family sharing feature, my SO's profile comes up when I open the game even though I'm signed in. What could I be doing wrong?

I'm not fammiliar with family sharing much, but the profile is stored in documents (not somewhere in cloud), so if you dont switch PC accounts its going to read that profile.

If you want profile just for some settings Content Manager could solve this, but otherwise you'd have to create new User on that PC or change settings on current one so that it has it's own documents folder.
