It may not work if both your wheel and flight stick are logitech.

This youtuber uses a flight stick as handbrake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Iz-ZTpBnK0

Also, do a search on the official forum, maybe you can find more tips about it: http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum

Imo, you could try a cheap flight stick (analog), and then you just set the stick axis in controls menu.

I use a Logitech Extreme 3D pro as a handbrake with my G27. When you assign it to the handbrake you need to change the range using the slider under it so that it only applies the handbrake in game beyond 50% (else when the joystick is centred the handbrake will be on). Works fairly well and isn't complicated atall to setup. I'm happy to help if anyone needs more info on setting it up. :helmet:

Tried it with a sidewinder 2, had wheel etc on a table over my legs and the joystick between my legs. A quick pull back on the stick to apply handbrake. It works but keeping a forcefeedback wheel going round a corner with one hand takes some doing.

Are you sure you were pulling on the Sidewinder?

I just tried it with a Saitek X-55 flight stick and it works. The X-55 stick shows up as another device in the AC input config menu so you could assign all the other buttons to other functions too. Now just to figure out what to bolt it down it to.

Ok so go onto the controls settings, under where you have the pedals, and wheel axis set there should be a handbrake axis that is currently un-assigned. Assign this by clicking it and pulling the joystick towards you.

However, this means that the handbrake is always half on. Underneath where you assigned the handbrake axis there should be a slider which gives you the range of the axis. Move the left bar to over 50% (mine's on 75). This means that the game only applies the handbrake when the joystick is pulled beyond 50% (when you pull it towards yourself).

Hope this helps, let me know if you need more help. :helmet:
