I use Fanatec clubsport pedals now but that skate board bushing makes a whole lot of difference to the feel of the T500 brake.
got a another question
in the Fanatec bundle do i need the wheel base (Clubsport Wheel Base V2 Servo EU) to make all the componetns work in the bundle. i dont understand how this will work like in the g27 there black box behind the wheel tht coomptutes the FFB etc.
the Thrustmaster T500 rs cost like + £300 and the Forza CSR bundle cost £288.81 incl tax and postage

Yes. Many people have done this, you just end up plugging each unit straight into a USB port rather than the wheel I believe.
The pedals can be used with the g27 so can the thrustmaster shifter. On the bundle you picked the clubsport v2 has nothing to do with it, the csr is complete package. The clubsport v2 is invitation code purchase only and is a stand alone wheel base. The csr bundle > the g27 package, the t500 wheel is better but not the pedals.
So if you are going for the csr, csr elite pedals and the included shifters yes is a good package at a decent price. I would personally take the gt3 rs wheel over the csr but that is personal choice, I dont like the csr rim.
for buget oritainting user the G27 is best but for a bit more i could get the Thrustmaster T500 rs which is much better.
3rd option is to upgrade each brand component.
so the question is which wheel to get from which brand , shifter and pedals etc?
i could order g27 right now and pick it 2 morro but i have read somewhere tht logistic no longer makes wheels and upcomming support for games.
cant afford the wheelbase.
Jack why did you say im better off goign with Thrustmaster T500 rs
what do you guys do buy the whole set or mix and match each components.
for the wheels i think Thrustmaster T500 rs is most recommeded not to sure about Fanatec wheels and pedals Fanatec clubsport pedals are better. correct?
yeh i saw tht OCuk had tht on sale early on today but thanks for the heads up
If you wanted to upgade the pedals at a later date (as I did), the Fanatec clubsport pedals have a USB connection to plug directly into your pc meaning they will working with any wheel and so does the TH8RS shifter.
If I hadn't got a discounted early access code for the fanatec V2 wheelbase I'd still happily be using my T500 now, I keep it in the box, as a spare just in case my fanatec develops any problems.
It's a really good wheel and I have no problems recommending it even though I no longer use it.
The reviews of the fanatec shifters you mentioned were probably for the CSR shifter kit, and to be fair that is totally crap, the clubsport shifter on the other hand is really good and feels not far off a real shifter. Comes in at about £150 though and there was a waiting list for them last I checked.
