Car and Track Mods on Multiplay

Thinking of purchasing Assetto Corsa, but wondering if it can be modded with new cars and tracks and still play multiplayer either with or without these mods? If so is it as easy as the players having the same mods/tracks, or will the game automatically upload/download these?

No, but installing them is easy as pie. Just extract/copy to the right folder.

To answer your question. If an online server is hosting modded content (car or track) that you do not have, then that modded content shows up in red in the server lobby and you cannot join the server. It is not affected by skins.
There is no automatic download option. You must download all content manually.
