you have a lot of info there about creating new cars.
If you only want to download new cars-circuits to your assetto, http://thesimreview.blogspot.co.uk/
http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/categories/assetto-corsa.1/
are the best places :)
Actually making the mods is my goal, however the Assetto Corsa forums requires a membership to actually VIEW any of the threads, which I find VERY annoying...
There is info about modding in racedepartment too, but now i spend more time playing than modding cars.
BTW sometime ago i help with physics in a unfinished mod in rFactor and i love to see the mod into assetto corsa, when u learn how to mod in assetto , tell me if you are interested in port the mod, is a smart roadster mod, i can talk with original modder to ask for use the actual model of the car (not completely finished i have the beta in my computer and i can show you screenshots) and i can help you with physics and sound ( i own the car in real life) , and i can talk with more smart roadster users from a forum to ask donations for your work :).
Hey, count me in on that, once I learn how to properly make mods for this.
At the very least, anyone needing a tester for mods, I'm always willing to work with and test specifics for mods and such, as long as credit is given where due. Like I said, I'm working on building a portfolio, so if I can get help with that, that's always highly appreciated.
Installing mods I know. That's straight forward and easy to do. I'm talking about MAKING mods for this game. Big difference.
Are these cars you've made for other games or are you just trying to rip cars from other games?
Actually, they're ports that I was hoping to do. Is that frowned upon? If nothing else, making cars from scratch is something else I was hoping to do.
You'll get loads of help making cars from scratch there though.
And you sure as hell can't use ported content (=other people's work) in your portfolio.
Don't be tempted to pass someone else's work off as your own (even wireframes) because you WILL get found out and you WILL be ostracized for it.
Ports or conversions are OK, IF you have permission from the original creators.
