One of my best tips for sim racers with wheels
I always see most sim racers with wheels wearing socks when driving, but if you have metal pedals like me, that can become annoying and also many times after heavy braking, my feet would even slip off the pedals thanks to the socks.

The solution I found to avoid slippy socks and also give a little more protection on the soles? WATER SHOES. They are super light, easy to put on and take off, and because they're designed to use at swimming pools, they have grip under them to avoid slipping, making them perfect for use with sim racing pedals. Once you try them, you won't go back to socks, trust me.

I got these for $7 on Amazon 2 years ago and they are still like the first day I bought them after 1000+ hours of sim racing.

I knew there was a madman out there somewhere who plays barefoot with metal pedals
I was just talking to somebody about water shoes just yesterday. I usually use them for washing the cars, etc. I drive in bare feet on metal pedals right now, it doesn't bother me at all. But we've had some cooler weather here in SW Florida and I noticed my feet getting a little chilly while driving. I'm going to give them a try this weekend.
