how do i launch the game in VR mode?

i've tried launching the game with steamVR already running but i don't get given the option. from what i've heard the game does have VR support, but i can't find how to use it and the store page doesn't list it as VR compatible?

Download Content Manager, I would recommend it. I'm sure it's somewhere in the standard user interface, but atleast in the Content Manager you can select either SteamVR or Oculus as output. Then make sure your device is connected and running on your pc before you then click "race".
