Is Assetto world safe?
I just recently started modding my game and was wondering if Assetto world was a safe site to download mods from.

In my experience, they're pretty much all safe. Never encountered a mod site in 1.5 years of AC that tried to scam me, trick me, send me hidden viruses, or anything of the sort. Of course the actual quality of the mods vary significantly

ok, thanks. When I tried to download one it redirected me to a sketchy looking site. Is that normal?

It just did the same to me, I'm downloading a track from it rn, and on the first attempt it opened up some ad windows instead. Closed them and tried again and it took me to the correct download link. Just have to be careful and not click and follow up on those pop up ads and you should be fine.

If the download button doesn't take you to https://modsfire.com, or https://sharemods.com on the first attempt, close the new window immediately and try again, usually on the second attempt it'll take you to the download link.
