not much of a gt guy myself so i do not drive them that often, but i think you would find the physics more than rewarding.
we also have the mclaren, bmw and lotus gt cars now so i think gt racing will be gtg when we have multiplayer.
AI is wip early accesss and all, but its gone from horrid in initial release, auto pit manuevered in every turn bad, to can drive pretty darn well sometimes. mostly they are lacking awareness and have trouble with going for it vs that lack of awareness so sometimes they drive super passive.
having done a few gt races the ai is one of the better tuned ones, the f1 lotus is still an exercise in frustration.
IMO AC is on the way to be the new GTR3 what we wanted from SimBin...
Buy it, if you are keen on a new sim as its quite the same game and mp structure.
AI is getting better each update, can match now with GTR2 AI.
Only weather, pitstops and night is missing in V1.0
Will come with V2.0 as they support AC 5 years.
Driving feels very good like GTR2 while its time!
And to your question, AC feels like the spiritual succesor to LFS, imo.
+1
But lets face it, between its physics and feeling to drive, and that of AC, are many lightyears.
Great to hear. Multiplayer goes live next week at this stage.
