BMW M3 E92 Drift vs stock
Ive noticed that the BMW M3 E92 mentions having a DUAL CLUTCH transmission in the info box, it however mentions nothing of a stick shift- as an upgrade in the upgrade section or otherwise. To most its not a big deal but its driving me nuts. Is the Drift varient supposed to have a STICK SHIFT or was it given by accident?

ps- Its too bad bmw isnt offering many cars with stick shift anymore

I'm confused as to what you're upset about. The ingame driver is using the paddle shifters on the steering wheel in both the stock and the drift m3. In the stories they are the same other than on the drift, they mention coilovers and modified tierods for extra steering lock.

BMW still offers standard transmissions, except the 7 series and x5 and x6 models and hybrids/electric.. You just have to request it when you buy it new. I agree that it is a shame that today's drivers don't know how to use a manual which makes manuals in today's BMWs more rare. They're out there though, you just have to find it or buy it new. I love manuals but in the double clutch defense, that transmission shifts extremely fast and revmatches for the driver. Technologically speaking, the double clutch is amazing. The driver is not.

he's talking about the e92, not the e30. This is likely a bug because looking around the cabin there doesn't seem to be a gear lever but paddle shifters are still clearly visible, yet the game won't respond to your sequential inputs the way it would with the non drift e92.
Not talking about the e30, didn't even mention it. I think I get what he's saying that the original has the DCT 7 speed and the drift has 6 speeds when it says DCT.
