Steering Speed 100%
Gamma 2.5
Filter 0.2
Deadzone 0.05
Intensity 0
Dualshock 3 (Using SCP)
gamma makes it go from twitchy, very precise, to numb, almost dull when steering, if you go full left immediately, the imput does it much faster with a lower gamma. The center of the stick is more sensitive when steering.
Filter simply put filters out errorous movement, like little hickups of your fingers while maintaining a fast corner
i agree, but i like to relax and lean back, it isnt that possible with a wheel. Plus it still delivers a great feeling while driving ;)
for a lot ppl there are price concerns, this doesnt even factor in the space concerns. i'm not sure i have room for a g27, i think it would also require a wheelstand at min, & thats basically doubling the price. of course a wheel will be better but assuming the assists are properly implemented, playing w/ a pad should be fun. and it has been so congrats to kunos on that.
Nope i never ever heard of it. May i ask you to explain to me?
Xbox360 controller here, mainly because i've got a new baby and don't have time to put the stuff up and down anymore.
I got the 0.7s feel with these numbers
Steering Speed 100%
Sterring Sensitivity 50%
Gamma 2.2
Filter 0.7
Deadzone 0.02
And I got a better driving feel from the 0.8s with the steering speed and sensitivity both at 50% and 2..5 gamma.
cheers from Brazil
instead of using xbox menu try this with ur xbox controller:
u have to setup ur xbox 360 controller as wheel/custom
-wheel/custom main
set stearing; use left stick and set to 40
setup throttle RT. u got more control now
setup brake LT
setup gear up and down ( B & X)
-advanced:
gamma 2.00
filter 0.90
speed seni 0.04
pedal settings: 2.40
trust me, its the best setup u can have with a controller
enjoy
edit: here is a download link for this setup

These settings work great for me with an Xbox One controller!
_Steering Speed - At least 30; 40 or 50 is tight/quick
_Gamma - I always set it to 1; sometimes use 1.1/1.2 if deadzone/steering speed is tweaked
_Filter - I use 0; if you want a slight bit of forgiveness, go with 0.05/0.1
_Deadzone - I use the least amount (all the way to left) because it lets the 360 pad easily steer without having to push the sticks too far in one direction (must have gamma low & you'll want higher steer sensitivity)... . and with the 360 controller's analogue sticks being as tight as they are, it helps.
Personally, I think I will get an X-Box One wired pad for PC next.. the analogue and trigger feeling/sensitivity is awesome! Hopefully, most bugs are ironed out.
Hope anything helped!
Great settings, I just set my deadzone a bit higher, to 0.05. Cars are stable and not twitchy at all anymore.
my pleasure dude. happy drivings!
