Go Karts
I feel like there should be a place on this game for shifter karts. Ayrton Senna came from a gokart background. Karts are fun as hell to drive. They're purely grassroot racing. Who else would like to see them on the lineup?

Not gonna happen, not in these dire times of political correctness. Sharing setups would be condemned as degrading and racist.

Happy memories of Hong-Kong in the 50's; us sailors used to pile the Ricky on the seat and race back to the dockyard...great fun after a few rums. Yes, we did pay the Ricky for our efforts. :)

not arguing against it. I would love to have a sim that has go karts. I can't think of one in recent times.

Only one I can think of is Live For Speed, but that too is pretty old of a sim.

Karts have a solid historical connection with F1 in particular. If I recall correctly, Kimi, Michael and Ralf Schumacher, are just a few of the many kart racing success stories associated with the sport. If Kart Racing Pro is an example of what can be done with karts, I am all for having them included in AC. +1

It wasn't a go Kart. The MRT5 is very different and a lot more powerful and heavy.

Game Stock Car 2013 has them; single gear and shifter versions (from memory - I don't use them much) along with a couple of dedicated kart tracks.

Thought I would tell you about 2 crazy go karts I built over the years. The first my step brother bought a 750 SOHC honda race bike that had 4 spare motors and I go kart frame with no motor, we had to extend the front and rear of the frame but other wise an easy fit. It was a scarry wepon it would lift the front wheels with the back spinning the only way to get the front wheels down was giving it more juice. We even had Willie Coyotee moment by brother went through the back fence it was made out of asbestos so you could see the outline of the kart and my brother in the hole.

The other had a TZ250 GP motor in it, I had totalled the bike in a race the only salvagable bit was the motor. Long story short fitted to a kart frame that a friend had it was friggin scary fast, we had it going for 6 months never on the track we were sneaking in to industrial areas in the morning. In the end my mate lost it hit the gutter head on and shattered his feet, ankles and legs so bad one had to be amputated and the other should of been cut off as well. I did give him the money from the motor when i sold it.

GSC 2013 (already mentioned) and Simraceway, a F2P sim' has Karts; I think the Karts cost about $00.65c so you can race for more or less no cost.

the physics will be there its just a question of will someone wil make it and the tracks for it, since well they are not made to race on imola you need much shorter fast trcks.

it can be modded it i would be 90% sure cant be that hard to model them, the suspensions should be similar enough to work with some tweaking.
