Logitech G27 Clamp Size
Today i bought this game and i really need a racing wheel.
Thats the only thing thats making my gaming setup complete.
But my desktop has a vertical wooden plank (Go's down to the ground) on it that is 7 cm on the outside and 5,5cm on the inside and is 2cm thick.

How much is the space of the clamp from a Logitech G27 can someone messure the max range for me pls?XD before i invest that much money in something i cant use

And if the clamp is to small what other options i got?
Getting a Playseat isn't an option for me.

Can't find it on google what the clamp size is.. and i know that allot of you guys use it;)

Thanks for the help anyways

Less extreme than a Playseat is a Wheelstand Pro. I've just got one and I'd seriously recommend it.

I had my wheels clamped to my desk for years but the Wheelstand Pro gives a much more natural driving position. I really can't fault it.

Ok, your cheapest option is to find a junk dealer or second-hand shop, and buy a smaller table, prefferably on wheels. It's a cheap solution, and you can just wheel it infront of your desk whenever you want to use the wheel. Plus, vintage furniture is super fashionable.

When I first got a Wheel (DFGT) I ran into the same problem and I used glue clamps to attach another/thinner board to my desk. Then mounted the wheel to that board ..

I recently got a G27 myself for jusdt for this game, i too dont really have room for a cockpit (play in my living room on 47" tv so not really an option) I bought an Ionrax RS2-a stand off ebay and its pretty good really.
The wheel clamps securly and stand folds away flat.
I did a small mod where I removed the pedals from the g27 pedal box and drilled holes in the base of the ionrax to fix them to that as this allowed me to stagger the accelerator pedal for better heel toe as the accelerator is now set slightly back so easier to roll onto.

My only real issue is that if you use the side h shifter mount it does not fold away properly, if you use the slot in mount the shifter can be removed easily to allow everything to fold flat.

Everyone thank you for your reactions it were really usefull and helpfull. But yesterday i ordered the Fanatec porsche GT3 package with CSR pedals and CSR shifter and an additional Table clamp that has a clamp size of 7 CM thats what my table is.. So now its just waiting till its delivered from Germany... If it doest fit the Table clamp is easily moddable with some welding and some tools from do it self market... the G27 uses special made Screws while the table clamp from Fanatec uses M8 screws i believe so it findable anywhere @ my location

But thx guys for the tips. Dont reply anymore pls let this topic sink to the bottom
