Chevrolet Corvette announcement
From FB page:

"As you have probably noticed, since the beginning Assetto Corsa was primarily centered on European content. There are several contributing factors as to why this is, first of which is location of Kunos Simulazioni R&D; having been working on this project in the past four years with limited resources and budget it was easier for our development team to access the cars and tracks found near the studio.
Despite the current European focus of Assetto Corsa we are suprised to see that a big part of early access sales has come from the U.S.A. Thank you so much for your support!

Well, we have decided to thank all the American people (and all of our patrons) for the great support they have shown our game with a new exciting license addition: Assetto Corsa welcomes the Corvette! The new amazing C7 Stingray 2014 will be added to Assetto Corsa as a free content, and the incredible and beautiful Corvette C.7 race car will be part of the Dream Pack that will include ten cars and the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife! We will keep you updated with the work in progress on these new exciting car models: ciao America!"

That's not going to happen; Tokyo Drift was the weakest of the Fast & Furious series.

(/me nods seriously, as though those two "facts" were somehow connected)

I tried to make sense of your post but failed.

That's because it makes no sense. Note the quotes around the word "facts". It was simply intended as ironic commentary on the massive stupidity that always manifests itself when certain subjects are under discussion (e.g. guns, women, and cars).

Into the rabbit hole.

And why is the driver in the second pic using the force? eyes shut dreaming of a fast lap?

New European rules - each team is required to hire one driver who is legally blind.

That actually makes sense, only EU beaurocrats could come up with something that ridiculous.

Aye, and then on the really important issues, like over-fishing of the Mediterranean bluefin tuna, they're nowhere to be found; too busy regulating the degrees of crook allowed in the neck of a squash. The EU is a good idea badly implemented.

Apologies for kibbitzing here, folks. I'm like 16 days and a wake-up from moving to Buenos Aires. It would make no sense at all to buy a wheel now and drag it along; having the baggage gorillas break a $300 G27 would be.....tedious. This game is definitely first on my buy list once I arrive and get settled, though. There too, I have talked to friends in Venezuela who say some games on Steam are not allowed to them, they get an error message about not available in your country licensing blah blah blah. It would be jolly annoying to buy a game here in the US and then discover it wasn't playable in Argentina.

Oh dear, this is my 'HSV: The Awakening'.

It's the fourth time I'm bringing HSV to the table and everyone is like 'meh'. I've just realized (all credit goes to google and nationality profiling) that it's the communication issue :D

I'm not talking about this[www.hsv.com.au], when I say HSV i have this[1.bp.blogspot.com] on my mind xD.

Thread is about Chevrolet announcement and I honestly never heard of the Honda "HSV" but Holden Special Vehicles is owned by GM and even sells cars as Chevrolet in the US. The Aussie designed Holden Commodre has been sold in the US as a chevy SS and doing realy well as in this example lol.
