fanatec csr wheel working but not working

hey there,

im using a fanatec forza csr wheel with the normal cs pedals. when im in the options menu i can see that the wheel is recognized and works, but once i want to drive, after pressing the 'start engine' button, it doesnt work anymore.
i can still use my keyboard (at least the keys that are assigned to any button on my keyboard, e.g. the horn) but i wanted to use the wheel (obviously)

anything i can check up on to get it working?

Select wheel/custom in the controller config screen, or pick one of the presets (assuming there's one for the CSR in the list).

I have that happen to me all the time with my CSR. It usually means its time to redo the wheel wizard. A lot of the time for whatever reason my wheel settings don't save.

Don't bother with the wizard- just assign and config your wheel and pedals manually- making sure you name and save the profile- you can save multiple for different controllers.

I have one for Xbox controller and one for Fanatec- works flawlessly.

One thing to note: Always plug in your wheel/pedals hardware into the same USB ports each time, if you use different ones, the profile will go blank and you will have to reassign everything again.

Sometimes, depending on your USB controllers- even leaving them in the same ports can cause an issue but since I have always used and unplugged and replugged all hardware into the exact same USB ports- I have never had the profile lose assignments since.
