I've never actually tried intentionally driving without the clutch in AC, but I have had one or two moments where I've fluffed up a heel-and-toe and still managed to make the gears change. That said, I've also had plenty of gear grinding situations too.

What car was it? You might have been using a semi-auto, which doesn't need the clutch to shift.

it is possible i don't use any clutch but i will warn you you may get some damage after you make a wrong shift so beware of it

You have the option to use auto-clutch, which obviously is enabled for you. If you try to shift a manual car without auto-clutch enabled, it won't shift into gear and will make a grinding noise.

@Z OH 6 eemm i use the pedal app in AC and i see the clutch doesn't do a thing when i enable the auto-clutch then i see the clutch doing something so that's strange :/

When automatic cluch is enabled, the game does this function for you allowing you to still shift gears manually but without having to press the clutch pedal. When automatic clutch is disabled, you have to press the clutch pedal to change gears otherwise the gearbox will grind.

Its all a bit more subtle.

You can shift without using the clutch, but that only reliably works if you shift within the "right" range of rpm in the given situation - if you end in over- or underreving the engine after shifting, you grind the gearbox. Clutchless works best if you do it at the correct rpm only.

Also, Kunos says that using clutch works slightly faster, allowing you to shift quicker and more precise. It also reduces the chance to grind the gearbox, obviously, although that is possible, too.

Once all damage is active, you will constantly eat away at the tolerance a given gear has for the correct range of rpm when shifting clutchless and getting a grinding gearbox. This will simulate growing damage to the gearbox. It could lead you to loosing a gear completely.

So, better use clutch pedal, and take the occasions when you forget it and still get no grinding sound as a free bonus - not as an indication that this is the way you should do it. There is a reason why there is a clutch pedal, and if it were not of any use, it would not be there . ;)

Kunos say that it pays off to learn to correctly use both clutch and shifter. And since this is a hardcore simulation of driving and no simplified aracde thing, I think learning it is the proper thing to do indeed.

i can really drive with clutch and heel and toe and i just found thats a litte rev range that you can change gears without pressing the clutch and i don't use auto clutch, please dudes, but thank you for the heads up

You are a God among men. Thanks for sharing.
OP, I know exactly what you're talking about, and I use it all the time.
I left foot brake, and when I shift up, I just blip the throttle to match the rev and the gear sticks in.
Very useful, as I dont need to let go of the gas\brake with both legs, and when I upshift, I normally don't need to brake.

It is always funny to see the ignorant being condescending.

You know of course that in real life you can change gear without using a clutch in a manual transmission car, do you?

Yes dude, I do know and if you can't take a joke, stay off the internet. And don't call me ignorant, I've probably forgotten more about racing than you will ever know.

May I keep the "condescending" for your description sir?
Seems to be appropriate
