Xbox 360 speed wheel
Hi guys, so I got the game yesterday, but didn't get the chance to play it today. Seems like it's a fun game so far, only I tried using it on the Speed Wheel for the Xbox 360 first, I don't know if it's just the wheel or what, but the steering doesn't seem very responsive at all.

Is there a way to fix this? or jack up the sensitivity?

Thanks tips.

But no seriously, I can't find any settings that change sensitivity of the wheel.

Options>Controls>Wheel/Custom-section>check the upper right corner for "Steering Settings".

The weird thing is that unless i'm at a standstill, the wheel is almost completely unresponsive, I could barely get out of the pitlane in an MP4

Did you seriously get the Xbox 360 speed wheel to work with your PC! It's a wireless device, so how does the pc recognise the device if it doesn't have USB support.

Is there a device driver that I don't know about, that you can download for the PC, and how do you use it wirelessly on a PC?

I have the Xbox wireless adapter from ages ago, I don't know if they still sell it, but for whatever reason it just recognizes it as being another Xbox controller (depending on the game, really.) the only gripe i have with it is that it does't have any bumpers.

I've been using the wireless 360 wheel with the usb adapter too. From memory when I first plugged it in it was so woeful I went back to a controller. I changed massive amount of settings so I can't pin point the exact setting that made it 'as good as it can get' (no force feedback, boo!) but the setting that seemed to make the most difference was the degrees of rotation. I have mine set to 760 and it seems pretty good. Not perfect tho and I don't think I will ever get that wheel perfect. I am however about to invest heavily. Was thingking the cheap option of a G27, but then I saw the Fanatec Club Sport wheel base and it's interchangeable steering wheels. I can pick up the G27 in Aus for $300, but the Fanatec is gonna hit me up for over 1k... I am also gonna get a Cockpit like this (http://www.pagnianimports.com.au/racing-simulator-cockpit/gtultimate-racing-simulator/gtultimate-next-level-racing-simulator-cockpit.html) Sorry for the Australian localisation, may be very different options in other countries.

Anyway, hope that setting helps you get your 360 wheel working for you.

Yee m8, I was looking at the T500 wheel from thrustmaster (you know, the F1 replica wheel) but that's easily $800, I'm a piss-poor college student though so that'll have to wait.

Also that seemed to help quite a bit, though 760 is a little twitchy for me. At least I know it works
